Membership

When you purchase your home in Heritage Bay, you are automatically a member of Heritage Bay Golf & Country Club.

There are no equity or deposits required.  The value of the home includes the value of your country club membership.  This is one of the benefits of a bundled community!

Heritage Bay is rich in amenities! You not only have access to a beautifully maintained 27-hole golf course, but also a state of the art aqua driving range, a spacious recently refurbished clubhouse, a variety of restaurants, tennis and pickle ball, bocce ball, a resort-style pool and 5 additional satellite pools, a 24-hour manned gatehouse, a social calendar packed with fun and unique events and activities, a state of the art workout facility and much more! 

Because all homeowners are also members of the Club, there is an innate sense of fellowship. Here, homeowners can be involved in the community and the Club's amenities as much or as little as they desire.

  • Closing Information - Estoppel Requests & Member Questionnaire

      The Estoppel Fee is $220 ($75 for an update) and can be collected at closing.  

      Heritage Bay Golf & Country Club does not have an application process, but new owners can complete a Member Questionnaire to expedite the creation of their membership. Memberships are processed when Administration receives the closing documents, closing fees and Member Questionnaire. Allow 1-2 business days from the time of receipt to complete the creation of a membership, at which time the new member will receive an email with their membership details.

      Members of Heritage Bay Golf & Country Club have the ability to transfer their use of Heritage Bay's amenities to their approved tenants.

      • The Club Membership Transfer must be for a minimum of thirty (30) days.
      • Approval is contingent upon separate lease approval from the appropriate Neighborhood Association (see list below).
      • There is an administrative Transfer Fee of $500 (payable to the Heritage Bay Golf & Country Club).
      • The Club requires at least thirty (30) days’ notice to process Membership Transfers.

      Heritage Bay Open House Procedures
      Updated April 2021

      1.  Open Houses may be held on Saturdays and Sundays between 12:00 and 5:00 p.m.

      2.  A list of registered Open Houses, with the address and realtor’s name and a community map, will be given out at the entrance gate on Saturdays and Sundays.  To register your Open House for inclusion on the list, submit the Open House List Inclusion Request Form to admin@golfheritagebay.com no later than 1:00 the Friday before your Open House.

      3.  During approved Open House hours, only Heritage Bay Open House signage is permitted. These signs may be purchased in the Golf Pro Shop daily between 8:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m.  Contact the Pro Shop at 239-353-7056 or [email protected] for details.

      4.  Signs may be erected 30 minutes prior to the Open House start time and must be taken down no later than 30 minutes afterwards.

      5.  You may place two Open House signs as specified in bullet points 6 and 7.  No signs may be placed on the street side of any sidewalk.

      6.  For Single Family Homes and Coach Homes one sign may be displayed at the beginning of the residence’s street and the other in the front yard.

      7.  For Verandas and Terraces one sign may be displayed at the entrance drive closest to the residence and the other at the walkway closest to the entrance of the residence.

      8.  No other signage may be used anywhere in the community.

      9.  All unapproved signage will be removed by Access Control. Open House privileges may be suspended for violation of any of the Open House or Residential Resale rules.
