The breathtaking views from every venue are a true reflection of what makes Heritage Bay extraordinary. The Main Dining Room balances casual and fine dining with views of the Gazebo, Aqua Driving Range and Golf Course.  It is a large inviting space used for our frequent special member events, the popular Friday Night Buffet and Sunday Brunch.

27 Holes of Championship Golf

Heritage Bay boasts 27 beautifully landscaped and maintained holes designed by renowned architects Gordy Lewis and Jed Azinger. Each of the three nines artfully sets out from the clubhouse, allowing play in any combination. Each nine has its’ own unique characteristics although all 27 holes flow together seamlessly.

Revel and delight in our quality services and world-class tennis programs. Play on one of the 7 lighted, manicured Har-Tru tennis courts with grand stand seating for tournament play, social and charity events. The Tennis Shop and on-site Tennis Professionals provide the resources you need to have fun and improve your skills.

Wellness

Heritage Bay Golf & Country Club offers a 20,000 square foot, state-of-the-art Wellness Center that emphasizes rejuvenation and healthy living. 

Members have card access to the facility from 5 a.m. to 10 p.m., 7 days a week, offering a full circuit of Cybex strength machines, True and Octane cardiovascular equipment, a Torque Fitness functional trainer and True stretching cage.  Enjoy your workout while overlooking the picturesque Aqua Driving Range and Clubhouse pool.

Aquatics

Our sparkling resort-style pool area provides an exquisite sanctuary for members in the pursuit of ultimate relaxation.

The Clubhouse pool is perfect for a cool down after a round of golf, game of tennis or a workout.  Or hop in the hot tub for a relaxing soak. There is also ample deck space for sunbathing and entertaining.  You can also enjoy a poolside beverage, snack or lunch from The Cabana!

Clubhouse Dress Code Policy

  • No Cargo Shorts
  • No Flip-Flops
  • No Swim or Gym Attire
  • No Frayed or Ripped Denim
  • Gentlemen are Required to wear Collared Shirts & to Remove Hats

The Dress Code throughout the Clubhouse is country club casual. This requires gentlemen to wear collared shirts, dress shorts or slacks. Women and children are required to wear similarly appropriate attire. Swim attire, cut-offs, tee shirts, tank tops, and gym attire are not allowed in the Clubhouse. Blue denim is not allowed in the Main Dining Room. Any frayed or ripped denim is not permitted in the Clubhouse. Gentlemen may not wear hats or caps in the Main Dining Room or Grille Room at any time, unless required by a medical condition.

      Doug is relatively new to Heritage Bay, but  brings an outstanding reputation in the Club industry, with over thirty-eight years of experience, thirty of which have been years managing prestigious golf and country clubs in Naples. 

      Doug has been an active member of the Club Managers Association of America since 1995 and is a Certified Club Manager and Community Association Manager. Doug’s many professional accomplishments include multiple golf course and clubhouse renovations and exemplary leadership that has continuously met and exceeded member expectations.     

      Doug was raised in Winter Park, Florida and attended Florida State University, where he met his soulmate and wife of thirty-five years, Debra.  Doug and Debra’s lovely family includes Trey (26), who resides in Naples with his wife Tori and their 2-month-old Warren Douglas (the first grandson!); and Trevor (20) who is currently a sophomore at the University of Tampa Business School. Other beloved family members are their rescue dog from Puerto Rico named Kylo and their Goldendoodle puppy named Hali. Doug’s passions outside of his work include skateboarding, surfing, diving, fishing, and boating with his family.  

      The entire Heritage Bay team appreciates Doug's positive attitude, his drive for providing an exemplary lifestyle to his members, and the experience he brings to our already outstanding club.

  • Nathan Freeland - Assistant General Manager

      Assistant General Manager


      Nathan, a Southwest Florida native, studied Resort and Hospitality Management locally and has accrued fourteen years of hospitality management experience. His passion for the hospitality and food service industry stems from his grandfather who was one of the founding executives of McDonalds, and he spent a great deal of time as a child at Hamburger University in Oak Brook, IL. Nathan started out his hospitality career as a Franchise Training Manager for an eleven-unit franchisee in the Tampa, Florida market known as the Schofield Restaurant Group. He continued in his career and worked his way up through the ranks of a local full-service restaurant concept and held the title of General Manager for over ten years. Nathan joins us most recently from Fiddlesticks Country Club in Fort Myers where he worked as the Assistant Food & Beverage Director. Nathan is a member of the Club Management Association of America and on the path to becoming a Certified Club Manager through their Business Management Institute’s General Manager/COO program.  He is also licensed through the state of Florida as a Community Association Manager. Nathan's duties include oversight of all clubhouse activities and facilities and assisting the General Manager/COO.

      Lina Blount’s career has taken her across the globe, from Controller at one of the largest hotels in Sofia, Bulgaria, to Night Auditor at the Marco Island Radisson upon her immigration to the United States in 2002. She continued to advance to her position as Chief Operating Officer at Heritage Bay Golf & Country Club via hospitality through Bellasera Hotel, as Assistant Controller and then Controller at Naples Lakes Country Club, Controller at Stonebridge Country Club and at Wilderness Country Club.  Lina earned her Master’s Degree in Human Resources Management from the Economics University for National and World Economy in her home country of Bulgaria.

      Her work ethic and reputation helped her become part of the Hospitality, Finance, Technology Professionals (“HFTP”) Board of Directors where she served as a Secretary for four years and continues to be an active member.  Lina’s knowledge of accounting, management, budget preparation, policy and procedures development, team building and HR, as well as her constant drive for results, were recognized by Heritage Bay Management and in January 2017 she joined our team. Lina has a strong belief that “innovation and creative approach to day to day operations beats complacency, and in order for a Club to stay relevant in today’s market, the Club’s management must not be complacent.”  When she is not working, Lina loves to travel with her family and twins, read, and watch soccer.
  • Stephanie McIntosh - Chief Administrative Officer

      Chief Administrative Officer
      Stephanie was recruited by Heritage Bay Golf and Country Club to take advantage of her experience managing high end Community Associations and her outstanding customer service skills. Stephanie and her team in Administration insure that the Club, as an HOA, is run meticulously and they go above and beyond to provide friendly, positive assistance to members and their guests. Stephanie couldn't choose just one favorite thing about working at Heritage Bay; she said the daily interaction with the members is what motivates her and that her fellow staff are the best team she has ever worked with!
  • Kevin Schaal - Director of Golf Course & Common Ground Landscape Operations

      Director of Golf Course and Common Ground Landscape Operations
      Kevin Schaal brings twenty-one years’ experience to his position as Director of Golf Course and Common Ground Landscape Operations.  Kevin earned his Associates Degree in Golf Course Operations and has solidified his knowledge as a Class A Superintendent GCSAA National member, a Caloosa and Florida GCSAA member in addition to other specific certifications that provide Heritage Bay with one of the best maintenance teams out there. 

      Kevin has been at Heritage Bay for nine years and has earned the respect of his large workforce, the management team and the members. Kevin had three favorite things about working at Heritage Bay: 1) the cultural diversity of the staff and the experiences it brings, 2) the opportunity to play an active role in the prosperity of the community, and 3) working with and being a part of a great membership centered around family and community.

      Justin is a Southwest Florida native who graduated from Florida Gulf Coast University.  Just some of Justin’s outstanding experiences and accolades are as a competitive member of the FGCU golf team, being PGA Certified in both Golf Operations and Teaching & Coaching (accreditations that less than four percent of PGA professionals hold), competing in many PGA National Championships and qualifying for a PGA Tour event, and being the Coordinator of the Bobby Nichols Cup Charity Pro-Am Tournament, which raised over $1,700,000 in charitable contributions in one year! Justin’s priority is providing the members and guests of Heritage Bay Golf and Country Club with a premier golf experience.  He believes in providing education and mentorship to develop a staff that is one cohesive unit. And he strives to bring a positive energy that sets the tone to consistently providing top tier service.
